One of my Seattle Boba go-tos, and severely underrated. They stood out to me for their consistent, good quality (and fresh tasting) fruit tea. I'm usually picky abt my boba (having grown up in an Asian majority area, I often feel like I've seen it all when it comes to boba), so MACU was a nice surprise. My usual is QQ Passion fruit drink bc they capture the passion fruit flavor the best I've tasted in seattle so far, and it comes with a lot of toppings. Seriously, give this place some love!

Macu Tea is one of the only bubble tea places in Seattle that provides coconut jelly topping among other unique toppings. The bubble tea is fresh and uses fresh juice. The toppings are very good and the tapioca pearls are very QQ and the taste is very similar to the bubble tea you can find in Taiwan. 我推薦！

Went to MACU TEA - UW for the first time. Ordered their Winter Melon Drink with Boba. Super delicious and very fresh tasting. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy! Also, outstanding customer service!!! Highly recommended!!! Love love love it !!!

MACU Tea at UW is easily one of the best bubble tea spots around! The fruit is always fresh, and you can really taste the difference in every drink. The service is quick, efficient, and super friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s the perfect spot to grab a refreshing drink between classes or to enjoy with friends. Highly recommend! The owner Christie is so nice, too!

Absolutely love this place! It’s hands down the only boba shop I’ve found that uses truly healthy and real ingredients in their drinks. You can actually taste the difference everything is super fresh and not overly sweet like other spots. The vibe here is off the charts. Lots of students hanging out, studying, or just relaxing. It feels like a community hub more than just a boba shop.I always get the QQ Passionfruit Drink and the Chichi Strawberry Smoothie both are insanely good. You can tell they use real fruit, and the flavors are spot on. If you’re looking for a place that serves top quality drinks with a great atmosphere, this is the real deal. Highly recommend!

I got the boba milk tea with 50% sugar really good and affordable boba drinks the staff are also super friendly here would definitely come back again!!

Decent amount of fruit dessert drink options. The king of mango was kinda boring tbh. The mango slush didn't have that much flavor, maybe it's not quite the season for mangos or they're frozen. The green tea jelly was good though. The Oolong Milk Tea was kinda watery. Strawberry Tiramisu: Strawberry slush was a bit too sweet, and also tasted like it was sweetened with stevia or another artificial sweetener. The foam at the top did have a decently strong cheese flavor though
